Can’t Decide on Color – What Do You Recommend?

We are going to have Bellaforté roofing put on but can't decide on color. Can you suggest one? We are thinking about Sabino, but not sure.

Dear Mr. Hardison,

The choice you are leaning towards — Bellaforté Slate in Canyon-VariBlend (formerly Sabino) — would work well on your home. The color of the brick in the picture looks like it would blend nicely with the variety of tones in the roof. Since the color is not always true in a photograph when shared online please confirm that this is true by looking at a sample of the roofing tiles alongside the brick color of your home. Stand back towards the front of your property and view the colors together in daylight.

Gray as you have now could work, too. However, I would suggest a slightly different tone — Slate Gray as a better match to your brick.

Replacing the roof with Bellaforté Slate will have a big impact on updating the look of your exterior. Replacing the porch supports with clean square columns would also fresh up your home and be a better match for the sturdy more substantial look of your new slate roof.
