Exterior Color Schemes: Brownstone Roof Recommendations

When first quarried, slate is never brown. After months of exposure to the elements some types of slate turn brown. If unexpected, this change in color is a shock to homeowners. DaVinci slate provides a consistent brown color with zero surprises. The brown remains as true as it was from day one.

The beauty of brown is that it can be warm and inviting especially when partnered with other appealing colors. To inspire you to come up with your own attractive scheme, I’ve put together five of my favorite combinations for homes with a Brownstone Slate roof.

You can use any of these exterior colors schemes exactly as shown or be the inspiration to create a perfect color scheme for your home.

Philadelphia Cream

The time-honored architecture on this home begs for a classic coat of paint. The classic shade of cream is a long-lasting choice. The dark brown window and door accents truly showcase the Brownstone slate roof.

Prelude To Pink

This color palette is much more than just pretty in pink. A Brownstone roof gives a wink to plum and that is reflect in the main exterior color. The trim keeps the monochromatic tone while the accents vary with a pop, in two deep shades of wine.

Almond Cream

A warm tan paint color spans the homes exterior. This pairs well by contrasting the Brownstone roof. The trim highlights the home in a creamy tone. The door and window frames are painted in forest green creating interest, while connecting the space to the natural surroundings.

Perfect Greige

A stone is the perfect exterior for a natural look. The constant change in pattern of stone is best paired with a neutral color. The warm gray exterior follows the same tone as the stone. In an effort to create an organic yet refined exterior, a cool muted green is used on the front door.
