They like how we’ve made our composite slate and shake roof tiles easy for the professional roofer to install by pre-blending all bundles in the factory. The tiles can also be applied with a nail gun and are durable to walk on.
For this project, the homeowner chose DaVinci imitation slate shingles for their natural appearance as well as the fact they are light weight. DaVinci Slate weighs a fraction of what natural slate weighs and so additional structural reinforcement is not needed when installing a DaVinci roof (assuming the structure is up to code!).
