Synthetic Shake

Bellaforté Shake has made a name for itself in Omaha, as a good looking and environmentally friendly replacement of it's natural counterpart. Cedar roofing, though authentic to many homes in the area, has lost popularity over the years due it it's inability to stand up to wind and hail events. Using polymer shake products, instead of natural cedar shake, can have a tremendous positive environmental impact. In storm prone areas, like Omaha, hail and wind events happen often enough that homeowners often don't have to wait too long for a storm that will require them to get their old roof torn off an a new one put on. People have grown accustomed to putting on a new roof every few years, but unfortunately most of the old products are not recycled (or even recyclable), thus sending them to the landfill.

A new Bellaforté Shake roof by DaVinci Roofscapes, offers the look of authentic cedar shakes, but comes with a Class 4 Impact Rating and a 110 mph wind rating. This means that in the event of a storm, it is less likely your roof will be damaged and needing to be replaced.

This project was sent our way by Rich Poisel's Roofing out of Omaha. It has Bellaforté Shake in the Mountain Blend installed prominently on a mansard roof. Thank you for sharing this project with us Rich Poisel's Roofing!
