Roofing Challenges in Europe

If you’re a roofing installer and think you’ve seen it all and tackled the craziest jobs imaginable, then visit Europe!

While on a recent trip, I took these pictures of some very unique roofing projects that I wouldn’t have wanted to be involved with. From onion-shaped domes to an all-roof barn in Holland, these projects make me very glad for simple, everyday roofing projects.

While my inclination was to start tearing apart the tar paper and wood board roofs (coated in green algae) I saw by the waterside, calmer heads prevailed and I simply took these pictures … happy the entire time that when I got home to my polymer Bellaforté Slate roof in the United States I’d be certain to find no algae and no headaches!
