Solid Accessory Tiles from DaVinci Roofscapes
KANSAS CITY, KAN. – To enhance the versatility of its single-width Slate, single-width Shake and multi-width product lines, DaVinci Roofscapes® has introduced solid synthetic slate and shake accessory tiles.
“The unique design of the DaVinci product lines has ribbing to provide improved flexibility, reduced weight and create a thermal barrier,” says Ray Rosewall, president and chief executive officer of DaVinci Roofscapes. “This allows us to create a thick profile that is lightweight, letting air circulate below the tile and keeping both the tile and roof deck cooler. The new solid slate and shake accessory tiles are available for installers who wish to finish a course, rake end or valley with a solid piece of synthetic slate or shake.
“While a solid accessory tile is not required for a successful roof application, we recognize that some installers prefer to use it as an option. The solid tile is just another method of blending the appearance of cut tiles to give a polished look to a finished project.”
Available in five single colors, including Light Gray, Medium Gray, Dark Gray, Slate Gray and Slate Black, the solid slate accessory tiles and are 18-inches long and 12-inches wide. The solid shake accessory tiles are 22-inches long and 12-inches wide, and are available in Autumn, Mountain, Tahoe and Weathered Gray.
The durable tiles have achieved the highest ratings for straight-line wind testing at 110 mph and Class 4 impact testing ratings. As with all DaVinci products, the single-width tiles resist curling, cracking and fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects under normal conditions and are backed by a comprehensive 50-year warranty. Additionally, DaVinci roofing tiles resist water absorption, which eliminates freeze-thaw issues and allows for installation in all weather conditions.
