What Color Roof Would Look Best with Our Siding?
We have a taupe colored cement board siding and white trim. What color roof would look best. We are also adding a 2 car unattached garage next to the house and have a shed also to roof same cement board. It is called timber bark. It looks more gray outside and greener inside. Thanks for your help

I believe you are referring to a James Hardy color called Timber Bark. This color is a deep rich color so for your roof you can go with something similar or something lighter. It really depends on the style of your home and how much the trim lightens up the overall look.
If you want to go with Slate, I think both Multi-Width Aberdeen and Bellaforté Cambridge would be good choices. The Aberdeen would give you more color variation but you will have to decide what look will work best on your home.
Shake could also work. Verona is color blend that is lighter and I think will blend with the Timber Bark, Tahoe is in the darker range. What you want to look for is a color with the same basic tone as your main color. Going light or dark is really a matter of taste. Either will work.
Whether slate or shake, the colors don't need to match the Timber Bark exactly but the main color and roof color should look pleasing side by side. Let your eye tell you which way to go.
Having the same color roof on all three building will help give the property a cohesive look and tie the buildings together in style.
