And the Award Goes to …

It’s awards season. Every time you turn on the television there’s a different awards program to watch. Up next .. the Oscars on February 22nd.

Which movie will run away with the most awards — American Sniper, Birdman, Boyhood? Or will it be Selma, Imitation Games, Theory of Everything or one of the other nominees?

polymer roofAt DaVinci Roofscapes, we’re rooting for The Grand Budapest Hotel. Why? Because we like DaVinci Slate for the hotel roof, of course!

We’re actually lobbying to have a “Best Roofing” category added to all the awards competitions for next year. Just think about it … Birdman almost flies off a roof, the American Sniper was situated on a roof in several scenes and the old-style roofs in Selma are showcased throughout the movie.

What would the criteria be for winning the “Best Roofing” award? How about beauty, durability and worry-free maintenance for the life of the roof? And, don’t forget impact, fire and high wind resistance. Then add in unlimited color options … including 50 shades of standard colors and the ability to create your own custom color or blend.

And, of course you need to have a proven track record to win an award. For DaVinci, that includes composite roofing on thousands of homes across America along with inspiring roofs that can be found on hotels, restaurants, country clubs, churches and even university buildings.

We think it’s pretty obvious. When the envelope is opened in the “Best Roofing” category, the Oscar goes to …. DaVinci Roofscapes.
