Ideal for recreating the look of natural slate on historical residences, InspireSlate by DaVinci is a thin single-width slate. The lightweight tiles are 12-inches wide and 18-inches long, and just a quarter-inch thick. Modeled from natural slate using advanced resins, these slate tiles provide fine detailing down to the textured surfaces and deckled edges.

Because every home is unique, Inspire Slate comes in 20 colors/color blends. Premium colors can add rich, subtle roof accents to a home. Or, a color blend can softly highlight a home’s exterior.
Popular premium colors include Brick Red, Steel Gray, Olive, Mist Grey, Perfect Plum, Red Rock, Sage Green, Brandywine, Charcoal Black and Chestnut Brown.
When it comes to color blends, DaVinci offers options that help showcase any home exterior, including Brunswick, Coachman, Concord, Gray/Black and Nottingham. And, there are also five Cool Roof color blends, which are designed to reflect sunlight away from the roof, so they absorb less solar energy. These color blends are Ash Grey, Evergreen, Granite, Graphite and Wintergreen.
With so many options to choose from, homeowners are certain to find the natural-looking Inspire Slate colors ideal for their house. However, if that’s not the case, they are invited to combine up to five of the popular colors to form their own custom blend.
Durable, Reliable Inspire Slate
Crafted at a manufacturing facility in Michigan, Inspire Slate tiles are made of a polypropylene base of product. The roofing tiles are compression-molded to replicate natural slate. The mold provides their quarter-inch profile giving the appearance of weather-worn slate.
The beautiful appearance of the thin profile of Inspire Slate doesn’t mean it’s not hard working. Lightweight yet durable, Inspire Slate is Class 4 impact rated and 110 mph wind uplift rated. A Dual-Axis InFlex Cambered profile helps Inspire Slate tiles hold their own against strong winds. The slightly curved shape along both the X and Y axes offers superior uplift protection in both directions. The result is a dependable roofing tile that can stand up to Mother Nature.
In addition, durable Inspire Slate tiles resist chipping and cracking. They also resist mold and algae growth, pests, impact, salt air and fire.
Backed by a 50-year Limited Lifetime Warranty, the tiles are designed for easy installation at a 6-inch to 7.5-inch exposure.
