Synthetic Shake Roof Updates Home’s Appearance
Gerardo Contreras’s roof was in trouble long before he moved into his home in 2020. The real cedar shake roof had not been maintained properly by previous owners. In addition, it had experienced storm and wind damage. Plus, hail had impacted the roof and gutters.
“Weather conditions had not been kind to this roof,” says Contreras. “We lived with it for only a short period of time before the leaks, old age and overall damage became too much. We needed a solution.”
